Syphilitic Vaginas – The Complete Studio Collection (2008)

I came across this cd at work the other day. I looked at it and thought, “This is silly.”, then, “Wait. It’s from Japan? I bet it’s really good!”. Honestly, I generally do think bands that involve some sort of quasi-misogynist titles are kind of silly. Being from Japan changes everything, though. Japanese bands seem to always seem to go insanely above and beyond when it comes to grind/hardcore/punk/metal…life in general. Bathtub Shitter, Coffins, and Intimate Fags are some of my favorites.
I wish I could read Japanese, because that what the liner notes are all in. It is put out by a small Texas label that I hadn’t heard of until now, called Rescued From Life Records. http://www.myspace.com/rflrecords. (I’ll have to check out more of their stuff).
Anyway, the 78 minute, 35 track cd rips! Its part grind, part punk, part hardcore, part death metal, part black metal, all really awesome! Sometimes it sounds like Motorhead. I’ve only listened to it once, but tracks “Iron Sabbath” and “Shred Uranium Pussy” stand out. Here, let me spin it again…
